NOT ONLY DO THE TEMPERATURES POSE A THREAT IN THE ABOVE CIRCUMSTANCE, BUT IF A PACKAGE IS LEFT OUTSIDE OR IN A MAILBOX, IT LEAVES IT VULNERABLE TO BEING ATTACKED BY THINGS SUCH AS ANTS, OR OTHER PESTS THAT ARE ATTRACTED TO THE CONTENTS OF THE BOX AND CAN GET INTO THE BOX THROUGH THE CORNER AIR HOLES AND MESH BAGS !!!! WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ORDERS LEFT OUTSIDE ON A PORCH, IN A MAILBOX, COMMUNITY MAILBOX OR IN A POST OFFICE BOX FOR ANY PERIOD OF TIME AND UNFORTUNATELY WILL NOT REPLACE ANY DOA'S OR PACKAGES THAT PESTS PENETRATED RESULTING FROM THESE INSTANCES! IF THERE SHOULD HAPPEN TO BE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR ORDER, YOU MUST CONTACT US VIA EMAIL WITHIN 6 HOURS OF RECEIVING YOUR DELIVERY- *WE GO BY THE SCANNED TIME OF DELIVERY ON THE USPS TRACKING RESULTS REPORT BECAUSE OF IT'S ACCURACY (THEY DON'T SCAN IT UNTIL THE MOMENT THEY DELIVER), *AND IF IT'S A POST OFFICE BOX DELIVERY OR HOLD FOR PICK-UP ORDER, WE CONSIDER THE TIME IT IS SCANNED IN UPON ARRIVAL TO YOUR P.O. **HELPFUL "HOLD FOR PICK-UP AT THE POST OFFICE" TIP:
Our cut-off temperatures for live guarantee is 80°F (and below 30°), so when your temps exceed these cut-offs, HOLD FOR PICK-UP at your local post office is a must to protect your investment since your order will not be covered. However, we want your order of vita-mealies to arrive to you in perfect condition, so- even when the temps get close to 80° in your area, and if you usually receive your daily mail after 10:30 AM,- you should consider having your order of live vita-mealies held at the Post Office for pick-up! This will optimize the condition they arrive in since being on the hot mail truck during frequent stops on the day of delivery (as well as possibly being closed up in there during the mail carrier's lunch break or restroom breaks before getting to your residence) can deteriorate their health and longevity! It is your BEST OPTION for ensuring a successful, LIVE ARRIVAL! .
Hold for pick-up is also the perfect option if you cannot be home at the time your mail is delivered since we require someone to be home for delivery.
If you want/need to have your package held, please be sure to let us know when you place your order (or email us immediately after) so we can create a special "HOLD FOR PICK-UP" USPS shipping label. ***Please be sure to include your phone number with your request so that I can put it on the label in case USPS needs to contact you. You will receive the delivery confirmation tracking info from USPS and papal both via email as soon as we generate your shipping label, and then your order should arrive approx 2 days (possibly longer if there are USPS delays) after that- You will need to track your package at USPS.com regularly to see if there are any updates. Please keep in mind that just because there aren't updates DOES NOT mean that your package is at a stand-still. It is a delivery confirmation number, which means that it may or may not be scanned in at every stop, and sometimes may only be scanned in when accepted at the originating Post Office, the first big sorting facility, and then the destination Post Office for pick-up, so don't get overly worked up if there are not updates after the Greensboro sort facility and it has been 2 days!!
The "Hold at Post Office" option ensures that your order isn't on a hot/cold mail truck during frequent stops and possibly even during your mail person's lunch break. You would be amazed at the world of difference this makes because 99% of all order casualties happen during that last stretch of the trip from your post office to your home. This tip can truly save your order if the temps aren't within our "live guarantee guidelines".
In some cases where we feel that the temperatures are just too high to ship to the home address, but you haven't requested Hold for pick-up service , the above tip for "Hold for pick-up" CAN BECOME A REQUIREMENT in order for us to ship your order out. If we feel that this is necessary for a safe arrival, we will email you and let you know that your order must be held at your local post office in order for us to ship to you and request a phone number USPS can reach you at if needed, as well as for you to please let us know that you will be able to pick the order up at the post office on the day of arrival. If we don't hear back from you before we create the shipping labels, a refund will be issued back to you and the transaction cancelled because we have no way of knowing if you have read the email from us stating your order is required to be held at the PO, and we don't want to risk any miscommunication resulting in the demise of the order.
If for any reason we feel that your order may not even be able to be delivered safely, we will refund your payment in full in order to protect your investment. This again is us looking out for your best interest. We've been doing this a long time and know when it is safe and when it is not.

*We only ship to the lower 48 states of the US. If you live elsewhere and purchase any of our products, we wil promptly refund your payment in full to your PayPal account and send you an email to the email address on file with PayPal.
*It is very important to make sure that the shipping address on your paypal profile and order are correct before submitting it. If there are errors in your shipping address or it is incorrect in your paypal profile (ie: if you moved and you have not updated your paypal information), resulting in misdelivery, we cannot replace your order. Your shipping label is created based on EXACTLY what is on the order when it comes through! We do not change anything on the addresses and use a multi-order shipping service, which automatically transfers your address information as it appears on the order to our shipping program and stores it there along with all the others until shipping day when we print all the labels out together. So, please ensure that everything on the shipping address is 100% correct before finalizing your order. If for some reason you realize after you submit your order that there is a mistake, please contact us immediately so that we can refund/void your order and you can resubmit your order with the correct shipping address.
*Once the packages leave our hands and goes into the possession of the US Postal Services, we unfortunately have absolutely no control over the package anymore, and only have the same tracking capabilities on the package using the USPS tracking number as our customers do. And even though Priority mail has an approximate delivery time of 2 to 3 business days, USPS unfortunately does not guarantee delivery in this time frame. Holidays, other heavy shipping times, and severe weather may delay your packages arrival. If an order arrives DOA due to USPS delays for any reason, we unfortunately cannot replace it. The good news is- In 7 years of shipping, we have NEVER had an order arrive DOA due to USPS delays, but still must put that out there just in case. If there are problems with transit times, or if a package is lost during transit, we will do all we can to help track your package down, but please understand once again that once the package is handed over to USPS, we have no control over it any longer. If a package shows delivered on the tracking results, we must go by those results. If a package is stolen from your porch, mailbox, or if USPS delivers it to the wrong household, that is not our responsibility. A claim must be filed at your local US Postal Office.

**HELPFUL "HOLD FOR PICK-UP AT THE POST OFFICE" TIP:
Our cut-off temperatures for live guarantee is 80°F (and below 30°), so when your temps exceed these cut-offs, HOLD FOR PICK-UP at your local post office is a must to protect your investment since your order will not be covered. However, we want your order of vita-mealies to arrive to you in perfect condition, so- even when the temps get close to 80° in your area, and if you usually receive your daily mail after 10:30 AM,- you should consider having your order of live vita-mealies held at the Post Office for pick-up! This will optimize the condition they arrive in since being on the hot mail truck during frequent stops on the day of delivery (as well as possibly being closed up in there during the mail carrier's lunch break or restroom breaks before getting to your residence) can deteriorate their health and longevity! It is your BEST OPTION for ensuring a successful, LIVE ARRIVAL! .
Hold for pick-up is also the perfect option if you cannot be home at the time your mail is delivered since we require someone to be home for delivery.
If you want/need to have your package held, please be sure to let us know when you place your order (or email us immediately after) so we can create a special "HOLD FOR PICK-UP" USPS shipping label. ***Please be sure to include your phone number with your request so that I can put it on the label in case USPS needs to contact you. You will receive the delivery confirmation tracking info from USPS and papal both via email as soon as we generate your shipping label, and then your order should arrive approx 2 days (possibly longer if there are USPS delays) after that- You will need to track your package at USPS.com regularly to see if there are any updates. Please keep in mind that just because there aren't updates DOES NOT mean that your package is at a stand-still. It is a delivery confirmation number, which means that it may or may not be scanned in at every stop, and sometimes may only be scanned in when accepted at the originating Post Office, the first big sorting facility, and then the destination Post Office for pick-up, so don't get overly worked up if there are not updates after the Greensboro sort facility and it has been 2 days!!
The "Hold at Post Office" option ensures that your order isn't on a hot/cold mail truck during frequent stops and possibly even during your mail person's lunch break. You would be amazed at the world of difference this makes because 99% of all order casualties happen during that last stretch of the trip from your post office to your home. This tip can truly save your order if the temps aren't within our "live guarantee guidelines".
In some cases where we feel that the temperatures are just too high to ship to the home address, but you haven't requested Hold for pick-up service , the above tip for "Hold for pick-up" CAN BECOME A REQUIREMENT in order for us to ship your order out. If we feel that this is necessary for a safe arrival, we will email you and let you know that your order must be held at your local post office in order for us to ship to you and request a phone number USPS can reach you at if needed, as well as for you to please let us know that you will be able to pick the order up at the post office on the day of arrival. If we don't hear back from you before we create the shipping labels, a refund will be issued back to you and the transaction cancelled because we have no way of knowing if you have read the email from us stating your order is required to be held at the PO, and we don't want to risk any miscommunication resulting in the demise of the order.
If for any reason we feel that your order may not even be able to be delivered safely, we will refund your payment in full in order to protect your investment. This again is us looking out for your best interest. We've been doing this a long time and know when it is safe and when it is not.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
*We only ship to the lower 48 states of the US. If you live elsewhere and purchase any of our products, we wil promptly refund your payment in full to your PayPal account and send you an email to the email address on file with PayPal.
*It is very important to make sure that the shipping address on your paypal profile and order are correct before submitting it. If there are errors in your shipping address or it is incorrect in your paypal profile (ie: if you moved and you have not updated your paypal information), resulting in misdelivery, we cannot replace your order. Your shipping label is created based on EXACTLY what is on the order when it comes through! We do not change anything on the addresses and use a multi-order shipping service, which automatically transfers your address information as it appears on the order to our shipping program and stores it there along with all the others until shipping day when we print all the labels out together. So, please ensure that everything on the shipping address is 100% correct before finalizing your order. If for some reason you realize after you submit your order that there is a mistake, please contact us immediately so that we can refund/void your order and you can resubmit your order with the correct shipping address.
*Once the packages leave our hands and goes into the possession of the US Postal Services, we unfortunately have absolutely no control over the package anymore, and only have the same tracking capabilities on the package using the USPS tracking number as our customers do. And even though Priority mail has an approximate delivery time of 2 to 3 business days, USPS unfortunately does not guarantee delivery in this time frame. Holidays, other heavy shipping times, and severe weather may delay your packages arrival. If an order arrives DOA due to USPS delays for any reason, we unfortunately cannot replace it. The good news is- In 7 years of shipping, we have NEVER had an order arrive DOA due to USPS delays, but still must put that out there just in case. If there are problems with transit times, or if a package is lost during transit, we will do all we can to help track your package down, but please understand once again that once the package is handed over to USPS, we have no control over it any longer. If a package shows delivered on the tracking results, we must go by those results. If a package is stolen from your porch, mailbox, or if USPS delivers it to the wrong household, that is not our responsibility. A claim must be filed at your local US Postal Office.
